Women in FM

Liz Kentish is the current chair of Women in FM (WiFM), a BIFM special interest group that is all about networking, support, encouragement and development for women working within the industry.

The group has quickly established itself as one that listens to the needs of its members and the wider BIFM membership and produces events and programmes to support them. Both men and women are encouraged to focus on their continuous professional development, and WiFM has created a programme that addresses the career needs of its members. Every interaction with WiFM allows for networking and a good deal of fun.

Becoming a member of WiFM is free (if you’re already a member of BIFM), and it will help you to raise you profile in the industry, provide you with a source of advice, the opportunity to share and learn from other’s experiences, the chance to hear about job opportunities through word-of-mouth, grow in confidence and to contribute by getting involved and giving something back to your peers.
